Directors' Cuts: Inferno Unseen - NOWNESS

Paris-based production company Lobster Films presents an excerpt from an unfinished—and long-believed lost—1964 project from French auteur Henri-George Clouzot. Discovered in 2007 by film collector and Lobster Films founder Serge Bromberg, Clouzot's footage—stored in 185 cans at the CMC Archive in France—has now been reconstructed and is set for international release. A new electronic score was composed for the project by British musician Rollo Smallcombe, who co-edited the film with Fashion Film Festival director Marketa Uhlirova.
