Moon Time lapse - partial eclipse 2019
For such a time lapse, it's better to have a nice foreground at the beginning of the timelapse while the moon is rising. So a lot of preparation looking for the right place to shoot this Moon time lapse.
Finally a spot close to Grenoble with the Moon rising just at the top of the "Croix de Chamrousse antenna". As usual some calculations and simulation to ensure the right place...
The other keypoint was to ensure the shooting for the duration of the eclipse, or at least as I did for the first half part meaning 2 hours...
Thinking to the final timelapse I decided to use a 1000mm focal lenght in order to be able to show the eclipse progression. Always in the same intention, I proceeded with a tracking mount ( AZ-GTI ) finally +3500 pictures ( every 1s at the beginning, then every 3s once There were no foreground. Another DSLR shooting with a 300mm lense and +2000 pictures as well...
