Born in the 1950's, Stuart presented as a mystery... no-one knew how to help him. He was institutionalized, enduring years of mistreatment and loneliness.

Finally diagnosed with fragile X, a genetic abnormality of the X chromosome, he now has a completely different quality of life.

This is Stuart's story.
