Grainger Films were recently granted special access to the Uluru and Kata Tjuta National Park (Northern Territory, Australia) to capture a truly unique world-first aerial view of Australia’s spiritual heartland.
Uluru and Kata Tjuta are places of great cultural and spiritual significance to the local Anangu traditional owners. Many locations around the national park are sacred and not allowed to be filmed due to cultural sensitivities.
Drones have never been allowed in the Uluru and Kata Tjuta National Park before. This project took months of negotiations and approval was given by the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park Board and the Film and Photography Consultative Committee.
