"Each day when I cut hair on the streets I meet amazing people with amazing stories. Stories that most people never get to see or hear. Stories that can warm my heart, and break it at the same time.
When I sat down with Luke, Oona and Paul separately, they all shared their very personal mental health journey, their struggles, and what has helped them along the way to ease their suffering. These stories of depression, and the different forms it can take, can often feel quite confronting or difficult to hear. However, it can also be a very important part of our growth, both on a personal level and as a community. I am humbled and honoured to be able to share their journey thus far, to help us all understand the struggles others might be going through, or even what you yourself might be struggling with. You are not alone, and together we can be there to support each other.
If you or someone you know is struggling, reach out."
