The architectural and technical choices have been characterized by the most upto- date environmental sustainability: a photovoltaic system provides a considerable part of the company’s energy needs; groundwater as a heat source is used in heating, cooling and integrated in the AHU - Air Handling Unit - for conditioning and humidity control, essential for the processing of cotton; a BMS - Building Management System - controls and monitors the energy and air conditioning consumption, allowing the optimization and management of energy use
