Filmmaker and choreographer Joshua Hubbard presents this slimily surreal portrait of The House of Decay—the Manchester-based creative house of voguing, modern dance, art, and fashion of which he is the founder, going by the name of 'Mother of the House of Decay.' The group are known for showcasing the underground and avant-garde queer dance movement at its best.
Shot to introduce audiences to their work and mission, the film arrives after their recent collaboration with the LGBT Foundation for the #sexwithoutshame ball, held in Manchester on the 17 November, that celebrated ballroom culture and commemorated those lost to HIV.
