Aotearoa is the Maori Name for New Zealand it translates to "the land of the long white cloud". Over the past year I have explored New Zealand trying to capture the beauty of this amazing country through my timelapses.
I have been fortunate to spend the last year living in New Zealand and have had the pleasure of experiencing some of the amazing landscapes that this country has to offer. This is my first attempt at a timelapse video and have spent countless hours hiking around lugging a heavy pack through the mountains to get to some of these awesome vistas.
This timelapse includes scenes from Aoraki/Mt. Cook National Park, Mt. Aspiring National Park, Fiordland National Park, Taranaki National Park, Catlins Forest Park, Tongoriro National Park, Wanaka and Queenstown. I feel lucky to have been able to explore this amazing country and share its beauty.
