London-based filmmaker Ralph Pritchard presents an experimental, split-screen glance into the world of online communication and often disrupted attempts at hearing and being heard in these immaterial spaces. Through the rhythm of both composed and raw images—of Instant Messenger chats, city underpasses, bathrooms and borders—Pritchard delves into how it feels to digitally navigate both our own needs and the desires of others, while acknowledging that—despite the immense prevalence of digital media—we live in a physical world and inhabit bodies that actually exist.
