In this track from Mata—fronted by British-Peruvian singer and guitarist Luis Atahualpa Felber—Kenny Kray and Alice Dellal found themselves in the director’s chair for the first time, working with the debut musician and Ffrench—a London-based creative and beauty editor at i-D—in a process they liken to being “in a painter’s studio.” Kray and Dellal explain that they “worked with elements and gestures in a very sporadic and spontaneous way.”
