Ours is the first attempt to showcase Taj with Timelapses. Our effort to show Taj Mahal via timelapse was an exciting challenge for us. Earlier we have shot timelapses in cities and in wilderness. But our timelapse knowledge and experience was put to test while planning for the shoot.

A person who visits Taj Mahal can only witness few of the colors of Taj. We wanted to cover Taj in every lighting condition and from all possible angles in our 4 minutes clip.

We also realised the Taj mahal is more than an architecture marvel, it captures peoples emotions, of awe, wonder, surprise and most importantly Love. And there are all walks of people who come to witness this Wonder of world. Our film would not be complete without including emotions and feelings of all those people.

The main focus of Welcome to Taj – Timelaspe is not only on the monument itself but it shows the entire Taj Complex as majestically dazzling as it looks from the main gateway along with the glorious views of the mosque on the sides, the four minarets, tourist movement, their expressions, the richly carved designs, fountains, birds and its beautiful gardens which complement the grandeur of the entire structure with subtleness.

Our film will leave you with memories of Taj if you have visited, and if you haven’t, it will leave you carving to visit Taj. For us making this film gave fresh perspective to follow our passion. And such close interaction with Taj Mahal marked the marvel of human spirit deep in our hearts.

We got enormous support from our Family and Friends for this project, we deeply thank each and everyone for their constant support and encouragement.

In August 2015, film director Selina Miles travelled with artist Guido van Helten to Akureyri - a town on the north coast of Iceland, to produce a very unique work. This 6-minute film documents their journey, and offers insight into the unique personality of one of Australia's most sought after street artists.

This project was a self initiated collaboration between Selina Miles and Guido van Helten, who both sought to use their respective practices to delve deeper into the wonderful and unique culture of Iceland.

Max Halley: “I had initially tried to write a script for a short animated film, but all my efforts lacked the energy of the animations I was really inspired by (Duck Amuck, Rejected, Creature Comforts, I Met The Walrus), all of which had brilliant recorded dialogue.

“Luckily enough I had a funny, engaging, articulate, lovable and willing performer in Maria Kirchner on hand and I began recording her constantly. All the animation was done in Adobe After Effects.”

Aerial Arterial—Tokyo From Above (At The CONFLUX Part One)

Aerial Arterial presents Tokyo from above. Its sprawling nocturnal cityscapes crisscrossed by thruways. It begins with shots atop the world's tallest tower—the Tokyo Skytree—with the expanses of the urban grid illuminated by headlights below. We end closer to the concrete with dizzying loops traced by traffic.

In between these poles, the massive fiery-hued highways pulse through the wards of Minato and Shinjuku, like veins circulating blood. The towering skyscrapers watch over all, unmoved—soaring sentinels of steel and glass. Not a soul is seen. Only machines.

The music is minimal. The images need space to breath. Tender Japanese flavored chords are accompanied by street beeps, night noises and satellite hums. After all, in the metropolis, the crickets are replaced by singing machinery.

This is an ode to edifices of the great eastern capital. To its atmosphere and infrastructure. A static lullaby for a city on stilts.

Aerial Arterial is the first of five parts of At The Conflux, a short film exploring the rhythm of urban Japan and its people. Stay tuned for the premiere of part two, “Tokyo Aglow,” on Monday, June 6th.

I shot this in two trips to Tokyo. In May and June of both 2014 and 2015. Editing began in earnest in November of 2015 along with the composition of the music. I recorded the solo piano part in April at SoundPure studios in Durham, NC with the help of recording engineer, Artem Smirnov.

The time-lapses were shot in raw (with a 5D Mark III and a Sony A7s) developed in Lightroom, and edited in Adobe Premiere Pro CC. I composed the music at the piano with paper and pencil, input it into Finale 2014, recorded the music into Pro Tools in two separate recording sessions, added material with Ableton and Max MSP, and did the final edits in Adobe Audition and in Premiere.

Episode 5 "The Arctic ocean. Tundra." The movie tells us about the Russian surfers riding in the severe conditions of The Far North. Only few ones have tried surfing at this latitude, even fewer have tried it in Russia. The movie's been shot during one year at different locations in the Murmansk region. The camera crew has filmed different seasons, conditions and moods of those sites. Having overcome all of the difficulties and having been inspired by the northern spirits, our heroes share their impressions about the places they've visited, the past of our country and their childhood.

Red Bull - Zigzagging The Caucasus (Full Length)

Eclectic squads and unexpected destinations are what we bring together, and on that front Patrik never fails to deliver. Georgia, Armenia and the tiny, disputed region of Nagorno-Karabakh were traversed in search of yet more untouched spots and undiscovered culture. This area, where the easternmost reaches of Europe meet western Asia, is one of the most richly cultured and yet unexplored parts of the world – certainly so in terms of our own tribal movement which we call skateboarding.

Naturally, Plan B legend and rainy backlipper Pat Duffy was enlisted alongside Latvian stuntman Madars Apse, England’s finest, Barney Page, bohemian American ripper Walker Ryan and Russian shocker Gosha Konyshev in what must be a new benchmark in random squad assembly. Love it.

Inevitably, given the skaters involved and the visionary behind the lens, this is a superb three-parter which deserves to reverberate around the world of skating and beyond.Wallner is setting the agenda for visual standards in this kind of skate film right now and the spontaneous skating produced by new terrain and quick hits locks into that aesthetic perfectly. Really, nobody else is doing this kind of stuff today.

At the tender age of 70 she started recording and releasing her own music straight from the living room. Seven years later she had 59 albums to her name with more than 600 songs – an eccentric myriad of catchy compositions mixing in her pets, found toys, kitchen percussion and a Casio keyboard.

Sigríður Níelsdóttir is her name, and before long the Icelandic/Danish musician and visual artist became an adored cult figure in the Icelandic music scene, represented here by her young apprentices Mugison, múm, and Sin Fang of Seabear who pay tribute to the grandma’s irresistibly catchy, yet eccentric pop tunes.

Shot mostly on Super-8 and 16mm, Grandma Lo-fi was created over a period of seven years by three musicians and debuting directors, capturing the most productive period in the life of Sigríður Níelsdóttir. In many ways Sigríður is like a cartoon character. Poetic moves such as taking in broken-winged pigeons that in return sing along to her tunes, or transforming a cream whisk into a helicopter, all call for animated sequences that bridge the obscure space between her exemplary imagination and a delightfully peculiar everyday existence.

Grandma Lo-fi is a cinematic tribute to an amazing musician and to her boundless creativity.

Consuming Spirits - Independent feature animation by Chris Sullivan

Consuming Spirits is a hand-made independent feature animation shot frame-by-frame on 16mm using paper cut outs, models, and tracing paper cell animation.

It chronicles the lives of three characters who live in a rust belt town called Magguson, and work at its local newspaper The Daily Suggester. They are: Gentian Violet 42: Victor Blue 38: and Earl gray 64, who first appear to be acquaintances. But as the film unfolds, we find they have a long diabolical history, revolving around social service intervention, foster care, romance and hatred. Each character has family secrets to hide, and family secrets to discover. An auto accident one dark and inebriated night causes a crack in the memory vault of these intimate strangers. By films end all parties walk from the woods, both healed and wounded.

ESPRITS CONSUMANTS est un film long métrage d’animation indépendant qui chronique les vies de trois habitants Magusson, une ville dans la région rouillée des Etats-Unis. Ils travaillent au journal local, The Daily Suggester ( Le Suggéreur Quotidien). Ce sont: Gentian Violet, 42 ans; Victor Blue, 38 ans; et Earl Gray, 64 ans. À première vue, ils se connaissent simplément. Mais pendant que le film se déroule, on trouve qu'ils ont une longue histoire diabolique, tournant autour de l'intervention des services sociaux, du placement familial, de l'amour et de la haine. Chaque Chacun des personnages va découvrir des secrets de famille qui étaient enfouis. Un accident d'auto par une nuit sombre et inébriée fait une fissure dans la caisse des souvenances pour ces étrangers intimes. À la fin du film, tout le monde sort de la forêt, à la fois guéri et blessé.......amusez-vous.
