time lapse night sky with NOEMA

Time lapse Night sky with NOEMA. A timelapse directed with Jean Philippe Kornmann
What a great location to realize such a time lapse. The site itself offers a clear sky to shoot the milky way, then, very amazing to have as a foreground the 15 meters antennas working as a single telescope, meaning moving at the same time together is awesome !. NOEMA, the successor to the Plateau de Bure observatory, is the most powerful millimeter radiotelescope of the Northern Hemisphere .
The key point was to be able to realize this time lapse in only one night, so we decided to make this time lapse together (Jean Philippe & Dominique), organizing our shots accordingly: 1 Canon 6D dedicated to the sequences with a slider, 1 another Canon 6D dedicated to hyperlapse sequence, 1 Nikon D610 dedicated to sequences with a 50mm lens requiring tracking, another Nikon D610 dedicated to wide shots.
Another key point was to reach the plateau de Bure (1100 meter/3 hours climbing to reach the it at 2500 meters of altitude), with all the above gears..., 20 kg for each one...
the reward was a great night allowing us to take pictures from sunset until the next morning.

Time lapse directed by Jean Philippe Kornmann and Dominique Joubert, with the following gear:
2 Canon 6D modded with Sigma 50mm F1.4 , Samyang 24mm F1.4 Syrp Genie II and Syrp Genie Mini. 2 Nikon D610 with Nikon 50mm F1.4, Samyang 24mm F1.4, Star adventurer Mini Mount
Holy grail time lapse sequences managed with dslrdashboard.
