Official music promo for Adelphi Music Factory’s Javelin.
Drawing inspiration from the rhythmic energy and the tracks gospel roots; Javelin centres on a young drummer running late to rehearsal over and over again. As the repetitions build, the scenes layer upon each other in an ever growing spiral of drumming, running and preaching.
Featuring an incredible cast of non-actors from Cemetery Road Baptist Church and Sheffield’s Community Choir. The video stars Janine Dyer as the lead singer, father Rev. Daniel Anang and his amazing son Jeryhuda as the lead drummer.
Filmed in Sheffield, January 2019.
A very big thanks to all the people involved: Mike Green and James Chapman at Cemetery Road Baptist Church, Janine Dyer and the Sheffield Community Choir, Dative and Brave from the Congolese congregation, Rev. Daniel Anang and Jeryhuda, Knucklehead and Ministry of Sound.
