KENZO “La Collection Memento N°1” Campaign Film

The KENZO “La Collection Memento N°1” is inspired by a legendary collection created by Kenzo Takada in the early 80's.

As much as the collection, the accompanying photo campaign by Hans Feurer became an important reference point to the house and inspiration for countless other shoots and photographers later on.

The original campaign was shot in Lanzarote, so it seemed a great idea for this film to go back to the island and revisit these beautiful landscapes again. Entirely shot with a drone and integrating the KENZO MEMENTO prints in a new and beautiful way, we paid homage to the past while very much looking into the future.

The island, defined by its volcanos is unlike anything, its stark and mystical beauty is the perfect backdrop to the colorful and visually very rich collection.

The film follows an otherworldly looking, beautiful couple on their journey through this landscape. The film flows like lava, from the mountains to the sea.
