China Split

China is a land of opposites, where urban chaos fades into majestic national parks. It is a world of indomitable mountain ranges, centuries-old culture, and millions of selfie sticks. In October 2015, I spent three weeks in three cities -- Shanghai, Zhangjiajie, and Guilin -- sleeping in family-run B&Bs and eating local.
