So we had to pinch ourselves when we were asked to animate Neil deGrasse Tyson’s Gettysburg Address-inspired speech celebrating President Lincoln’s contributions to America’s scientific community – for it was Lincoln who chartered the National Academy of Sciences to provide independent, objective advice to the nation on matters related to science and technology.
