Chicago Hyperlapse - "E-Ticket to Chicago"

Chicago Hyperlapse "E-Ticket to Chicago" is a final creation of my 5 month project. I started in May shooting some pictures for this clip which was born in my head last year and weather did not allowed me to fulfill those plans. Finally in May weather started to be nice so I got out of the house over the weekends to get started with this project. It's my first hyperlapse and every time shooting some sequences was challenging. At first I thought that this is easy and software will do the rest. I was soooooo wrong. It is hard work to shoot every picture in level, focus, keep the same distance between frames, timing. On top of that I was getting up at 4 am on Sundays to get to some places before crowds hit the streets. Sunrises in the summer are around 5.30 am but really worth waking up. I made over 100 and used around 50 sequences for this project and lots of material did not came out as expected. That's part of the process - I guess. Overall I spent all my free weekends, few days off, lots of hours in front of my computers and this is it. Journey through Chicago in 4 minutes. I used Canon 7D and 70D plus GoPro Hero 4 Black Edition for this video. Edited in Lightroom 5, Adobe After Effects and Sony Studio 13. September 2015.
