Read more about the Kashmir tragedy http://ift.tt/2gGyREy
In 3 weeks exploring Kashmir, i experienced an overwhelming contrast of beauty, hospitality, and tragedy.
This video is what i saw, in 3 minutes.
This is my video-attempt to make people aware of this misunderstood part of the world, spread the word, and try to make things change.
In the XIII century, Kashmir was described by Persians poets as Heaven on Earth.
Since the Independence in 1947, Kashmir initially decided to remain independent, choosing not to become a part of either Pakistan or India.
Since then, this Heaven slowly faded to a place where blood spilling is part of daily life.
But the Kashmiri people is the most welcoming and hospitable on earth, taking life in such an easy way, that is sometimes hard to believe that it's sadly a war zone.

Music video for The War On Drugs' "Nothing To Find," Starring Sophia Lillis.
A girl and her plant creature hit the road in the coolest car ever.
There's no limit or specific shape to compassion, and no one aesthetic to companionship. And nothing really ends. Even after 6.5 minutes.
My heart filled so much during this project, and I'm so beyond grateful to every dang person who shared their talent in order to give this story its viney wheels.

Ever take a step back and just listen at how much we complain? Well I dedicated a week to writing down some of the best complaints, just to prove how often we do it. It’s surprising just how many we hear in a week, 46 in fact! I took a few of the best and turned them into this fun little project.
And man… was it exhausting. Wait… 47

“When you first start writing, you’re going to suck,” says David Sedaris in a recent interview with The Atlantic. In this animated video, Sedaris reveals that he kept a diary for seven years before he started writing stories and sharing them publicly. “More people are documenting their lives now,” he continues. “The difference is the degree to which they’re sharing. And there’s a lot to be said for not putting things out there.”
