In 2016, we went a short overland trip in East Africa. We were truly amazed by the warmth and openness of the people. We visited Kigali, Bwindi, Queen Elisabeth National Park, Bunyoni and Kivu.

Magic is all around us, you just have to look for it.....
A new experimental, surrealistic landscape with the kaleidoscope and mirror-effect of a place called ‘DE DRIEHOEK’ (The dutch name for Triangle). That’s why I used the triangle as a symbol for this area.

Robinson College of Business - Georgia State University
I worked with the team at Matchstic in Atlanta to produce and animate a short animation unveiling the rebrand for GSU's Robinson College of Business.
This was a fun project for a lot of reasons, but particularly because we started with a blank canvas that quickly expanded when we began storyboarding possible directions. With a minimal, but very intentional visual identity system, we found ways to illustrate Robinson's core messaging using mostly dots.

I was obsessed with movies and TV from an early age, and my real dream was to somehow find work in those industries. 4k, 8k, HDR … technology is developing rapidly - and so is time lapse and timelapse production. Which city could better fit as a place for that technical demo, if not Big Apple - New York City. The video shows the city in one of its less frenetic times of the year - around Christmas - but this city never sleeps.
Enjoy our first technical preview of a series of ultra high definition clips in HDR. Your TV set has to support HDR and the Youtube App on it must support HDR-delivery. At the moment the best way is Googles Chromecast Ultra. HDR is only available on Youtube. This 8k time-lapse was produced with cameras with more than 42 Megapixels and enough dynamic range to produce REAL High Dynamic Range - HDR - footage.
The next journey already started (oh, to be honest, it started a year ago and is now in postproduction …) and we will come back soon with another 8k HDR adventure.
